What Would The Inside Flap Of Your Cover Say?

Day one of the Blogtember Challenge Sept 1st:  Imagine the front sleeve of a hard cover novel. Give us your "About the Author"...

Day one of the Blogtember Challenge
Sept 1st: Imagine the front sleeve of a hard cover novel. Give us your "About the Author" so we can get to know one another, and for fun tell us what your imaginary novel would be about.

About the author
"Lacey lives at her home in Minnesota with her fiancé and cat Jefferson. When she's not writing for DDoL she can be found traveling around her county looking for news. Lacey always has a book on her nightstand and reads every night before bed. When she's not reading or writing she enjoys watching movies, running, walking, drinking copious amounts of coffee and hanging out with friends and family. When they have the free time Mario Kart has been known to be a main source of entertainment in the home!"

About the (imaginary) novel:
My imaginary novel takes place in the midwest where cheesy landmarks (think Paul Bunyan and Jolly Green Giant) join forces and terrorize tourists along major highways. Lacey the Super Journalist uses her weapon of choice, the pen, to take them down with the truth one human interest story at a time. Think: the pen really is mightier than the sword!

Okay, so since I really am working on a novel for real, this is obviously not a serious synopsis! Just an awesome fictionalization of my real life career!

What would your novel be? And your about the author? Share your's with me at lilmissalwayswrite@gmail.com and I will share some on my blog as well!

    1. Awesome! Midwest representing! My real-life novel is still a baby but its a dark comedy and it's about a woman who becomes obsessed with death which leads her to do some quirky things.
